Software Engineers required to join a leading software solutions company located in Cowes to provide software support for our products around the world.
The role will involve providing support to end users and engineers either over the phone, remotely or at site. You will reproduce, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and problems providing guidance and advice with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
You will have a proven background in software development and troubleshooting including code analysis and debugging. You must demonstrate a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving with effective communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and SQL Server will be required. The role will also include occasional international travel.
Skills and Experience:
- Good communication, both written and verbal
- Troubleshooting software solutions
- Microsoft Operating Systems, SQL server and programming languages
- Networking (DCOM, security)
- Software development
The following skills are not essential but an advantage:
- NoSQL Databases
- Cloud Deployment (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Process Information and Management Systems
