Cowes Week is one of the longest-running regular sailing regattas in the world, tracing its origins back to the interest of the Prince Regent (later George IV) in yachting in the early 1800s.
The British Royal Family has strong links to the Isle of Wight, with Queen Victoria's favourite residence located across the River Medina in East Cowes.
Although no one from Yokogawa Marex was involved in any of the racing, we made the most of where we live with a social visit on the final Friday of Cowes Week.
