Experienced Software Automation Tester

Yokogawa Marex has an exciting new opportunity for an Experienced Software Automation Tester with a strong track record in software test automation.

Reporting to Software Quality Assurance Manager, as an experienced software automation tester in our software test team, you will have a Bachelor level degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, with 3+ years of work experience in a software development environment focused software test automation.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of complex automated test suites with adherence to quality processes that lead to the delivery of high-quality, responsive applications and solutions that satisfy customer requirements.

You will have a strong understanding of the software development and testing lifecycles with test automation skills to drive forward with our test automation program including: proficient with automation tools such as Selenium, programming knowledge such as Java and Python for creating test scripts, experience in leading test automation projects and providing technical support and leadership to the team.

Customer Service Manager

Yokogawa Marex has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Manager.

Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, as the Customer Service Manager you are responsible for our global software support, training and systems team, providing world class customer service to our global customers, maximising the value delivered by our software solutions.

You will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing customer service strategies, continual improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development processes and IT technologies in the manufacturing and process industry or other industries.

As Customer Service Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to our software service team of product specialists. You will be fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, motivating, coaching and developing the team.

You will delegate and prioritise tasks, set objectives, coordinate activities and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality customer services, and timely resolution of support calls. Always looking for opportunities to improve processes, workflows and service levels.

You will build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the global Yokogawa organisation and report directly to the Management Team to achieve company goals and objectives.

Software Developer Degree Apprentice

Yokogawa Marex has an exciting new opportunity from September 2026 for a Software Developer Degree Apprentice.

You will work within the Software Development team on new and existing projects in the design and implementation of software products and solutions, whilst obtaining a BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions Professional (Software Engineer) Degree.

The role will provide you with hands on experience aligned to support your university studies.

The working week is Monday to Friday, including one day a week at Solent University in Southampton.

The successful candidate will:

• Have five GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C or above) including English Language and Maths
• Three A-levels or equivalent, ideally in STEM subjects (Maths, Computer Science) or BTEC, HNC Computer Sciences, or a previous Level 3 IT/Computer Apprenticeship
• Be working at our offices in Cowes, Isle of Wight
• Be living on, or willing to relocate to, the Isle of Wight
• Be willing to travel (ferry tickets funded by the company) once a week to Solent University Southampton for day release starting September 2026
• Be paid an annual salary in line with those for an apprenticeship, funded travel during apprenticeship, and additional benefits
